Your new sales force

Turn your staff into a
commissioned sales force.
No upfront cost.

Every server and bartender gets their own FootTraffic QR code. They hand it to as many people as they can: strangers, locals, hotel guests, the gym, the office tower next door, the shop down the block. Every scan that walks in pays them a commission. For you, that's a huge new income stream. For them, it's a pipeline of revenue, bigger tips and future regulars. It all comes out of the same 15%, so it costs you nothing extra.

Server who rings it in

Ringing in the comp isn't a chore, it's a payday. Every FootTraffic check they enter with their PIN pays them 3% on top of their tips, so they're excited to do it.

Staff who bring the guest

Any employee signs up in 30 seconds, gets their own QR code and hands it out everywhere they go. Every guest who scans and shows up pays them.

💸

They build an income stream

A server whose QR brings in 10 guests a week at a $120 average, and who serves them, makes about $470 a month in commission, on top of bigger tips.

📈

You get a street team

Your staff hand out your QR code all over town on their own time, to strangers, locals and businesses. Every guest is tracked to a check, and you only pay on the ones who pay.

🤝

They build their clientele

Every guest they send becomes their regular: future tables, bigger tips, a reason to stay. It's a retention perk you don't fund, and FootTraffic handles every payout and tax form.

How it works

Three steps. Five seconds
at the register.

1
📲

A rep sends the guest

A driver, bellman or bartender texts the guest a FootTraffic pass to your place. It's credited to them the moment it's sent.

2
🥂

The guest shows up

Orders like normal. Gets their first 2 drinks on the house. Your team sells dinner, the second round, the dessert.

3
✅

Everyone gets paid

Server enters a 3-digit PIN, the check total and a receipt photo. You get one bill a week. Reps and servers get direct deposit.

Your offer, your call

Your offer can be anything.
It just has to be killer.

Our go-to example: the guest's first 2 drinks on the house, their choice of a real cocktail, beer or glass of wine, not cheap well drinks. That's the bar to clear. Be as creative as you want. The only rule: it has to be good enough to get someone off the couch and through your door tonight. A killer offer gets reps pushing you first and guests saying yes on the spot. Your team sells the rest.

✅ A killer offer is…

  • Easy to explain in one sentence
  • Something a guest would pay $15+ for
  • Simple for your server to comp in the POS
  • Good enough that a rep pitches you first

❌ It's not…

  • Cheap well drinks or a watered-down "house special"
  • 10% off, or a coupon nobody notices
  • Fine print longer than the offer
  • Only good on the slowest hour of the week
  • Something you'd be embarrassed to hand over

Change your offer anytime from your portal. Reps and new passes show it instantly. Not sure? We'll help you pick one that pulls.

Questions

The straight answers.

Do I need new hardware or a POS integration?

No. Your server taps "Redeem" on the guest's phone, enters their 3-digit PIN, the check total and a receipt photo, then comps the drinks in your POS like any other comp. Five seconds.

Does the offer have to be two free drinks?

No. Our go-to example is the guest's first 2 drinks on the house, real cocktails, beer or wine, not cheap well drinks. But you can make it anything: a free appetizer, a bottle for groups, a chef's tasting, skip-the-line plus shots. It just has to be a killer proposition that pulls people in. You can change it anytime from your portal.

When do I pay, and how?

One bill a week by ACH autopay, with a receipt behind every single guest. Checks under $25 don't count. No guest, no bill.

Can I control when guests come?

Yes. Pick the nights you want guests, pause anytime, and hit Boost on a slow Tuesday so reps push you that night.

How do my staff get paid, and does it cost me more?

No extra cost. Servers earn 3% of every FootTraffic check they ring in, and staff who sign up as reps earn 6% on guests they bring. It all comes out of the same 15%. FootTraffic pays them directly by direct deposit every two weeks and handles their tax forms. It never touches your payroll.

Who are the reps?

Rideshare drivers, hotel bellmen and concierges, bartenders and locals who already steer people every night. FootTraffic recruits, tracks and pays every one of them. You never manage a single rep.

What stops someone from gaming it?

One-use passes that expire, server PINs that lock after 3 wrong tries, receipt photos, and staff passes that only pay if they're made before the guest walks in. We flag anything unusual.

How do reps get paid?

Direct deposit every two weeks through Stripe. Reps sign up in 30 seconds and link their bank whenever they want before payday. FootTraffic handles the tax forms.
